First off, following it’s release in the US, France and Italy, ‘In The Flesh’ was recently published in Spanish by Edicioes B in Madrid. I wish I could say I'm going to do some book signing in spain... but I'm not.
Other then that I just got an early copy of 'Artists Against the War' - a book collecting the work that appeared in the gallery show with the same name a few years ago (right before the end of the bush era). The book is edited by my former teacher and esteemed illustrator Steve Brodner. My contribution to the book is 'Tasting Victory' - an homage to the classic Eisenstadt photo of the the sailor kissing a girl in times square. Anyhow, the book is really fun and has work by some amazing artists like Ralph Steadman. Milton Glaser and my israelite pal Tomer Hanuka, who's work is gracing the cover. Check it out if you see it in the store.
Also, it turns out my cover illustration for the progressive got accepted to the Editorial category in the society of illustrators 53 annual. More info to come soon on when the show will be. Can't believe I got this in addition of the medal!
And finally, I will be sharing a table with Lizz Hickey at the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Festival, next weekend. I will have some prints for sale as well as a new silk screen! Here's the info:
