It's been a little more than a year since the Occupy Wall Street movement took hold in the financial district, It's unclear what was the full effect of the movement which has now lost much of its momentum and at times looks like a sad farce of itself. But when OWS began it seemed like the moment has come for many unspoken frustrations to be verbalized, transformed into action, and cause a real change in the rigid status quo. One thing for sure, OWS has brought the concept of the 99% into the collective unconsciousness, and turned the spotlight inwards - onto an absurdly imbalanced America.

I recently got a copy of a book collecting works from young writers who were part of the movement, a few drawings that I made during my visit to the demonstrations mad it in as well.
